How we work

The four businesses were built to hand work to one another.

Most practices run on vendors who have never met. Every handoff between them is a gap the practice closes itself. Our four businesses close those gaps for you.

This is the chain.

  1. A practice manager's monitor showing an electronic health record dashboard, with an automation flowchart on the laptop beside it. 01

The Medical Engineers builds the systems.

It sets up and integrates the EMR, installs AI scribing, and automates prior authorization and denials. It also builds and maintains the software that the other three businesses run on, so the tools are the same on both sides of every handoff.

  2. A remote administrative assistant at a home desk with a headset, a scheduling grid and an inbox on two monitors. 02

The Medical Staffers puts the people on them.

It places remote front desk, revenue cycle and scribing staff into the practice. Those staff are trained on the systems The Medical Engineers set up, so a new hire is working inside your EMR and your automations from the first day instead of learning a stack nobody explained to them.

  3. Printed referral material for a medical practice laid out on a table: a folded leaflet, cards and a slim booklet. 03

The Marketing Surgeon brings the patients in.

It writes and designs the referral one-pagers, the LinkedIn presence, the patient collateral and the brand templates that the practice hands to the physicians who refer to it. When that work needs a website, The Medical Engineers builds it, and the staff placed by The Medical Staffers are the people who answer the inquiries it produces.

  4. A consultation room with a wall screen showing a paused patient education animation of a knee joint. 04

Medical AI Videos explains the care.

It makes the condition and procedure videos that patients watch before and after a visit. The scripts are written by our team, approved by the practice’s own clinician and delivered in days. They use the same language as the referral material, they sit on the website the engineers built, and the staff send them to patients as part of the visit.

This is what one team changes.

There is one brief and one point of contact.

You brief The Medical Operations once. We put the right business, or the right combination of them, on the work, and the same contact stays with you across all of it, so nothing is lost between vendors because there are no vendors.

Each business is a specialist.

Each one does one thing properly rather than everything adequately, and none of them sells work it cannot deliver. When a job belongs to a different business, it goes there, and you are told so.

The standard is shared.

The engineers, staff, writers and editors on your work are employed, screened and insured by us rather than brokered in after you sign. Every business runs on systems built and maintained by The Medical Engineers, to the same practices we sell to clients.

This is what stays with the practice.

The division runs the non-clinical side of a practice and nothing else. The lines below are fixed, and every business works inside them.

Everything clinical.

Diagnosis, treatment, documentation of care and every clinical decision stay with the practice and its clinicians. Our staff support the clinician; they do not act for one. Our software moves administrative work between systems; it does not make clinical decisions.

Every approval.

Nothing that describes the practice's care goes out without the practice signing it off. A video script is approved by the clinician who performs the procedure. A referral one-pager is approved by the practice before it is printed. A website page is approved before it is published.

Every file.

The practice owns what is made for it: the videos, the documents, the design files, the website and its content, and the configuration of its own systems. If the practice ends the engagement, it keeps all of it.

This is how an engagement starts.

  1. 01

    You brief the division once.

You write to the division or to any one of the four businesses and describe the situation in plain words. You do not need to know which business the work belongs to, and you do not need to have it scoped.

  2. 02

    We place the work.

Within one working day we reply with which business, or which combination, will carry the work, who your contact is, and what we need from you to start. If a job belongs to a different business than the one you wrote to, it goes there, and you are told so.

  3. 03

    Each business does its part.

The businesses involved work to their own published process and their own terms. Where one business hands work to another, that handoff happens inside the division, and your contact stays the same.

  4. 04

You approve, and you own the result.

Every deliverable is approved by the practice before it goes live, and every file belongs to the practice. What continues after that is up to you: one business, several, or all four.

Start with one brief.

Describe the situation in plain words. We reply within one working day with which business will carry the work and who your contact is.
